Easter in Lecce
We spent Easter in Lecce. This year the family reunion was a bit
subdued, as many cousins spent their Easter with their spouse's
families. So in the end we were ONLY 52 people, instead of the 73 we
expected. :)

Our Trip to Rome
We went to Rome for a few days in March to cheer on Mary Katherine as
she ran the Rome marathon (her 5th marathon, she's so hard core!)
Happy Birthday Mariah!
Mariah cooked a huge southern meal for everyone: home made mac&cheese,
pulled pork with two BBQ sauces, biscuits, greens and an incredible
3-layer carrot cake!

1. GJ and Vittoria playing
2 and 3. the end of the "Colors" unit celebration, we each had to bring colorful food
4 and 5. Guido's class singing the color song for the school assembly
6 and 7. some beautiful paintings by the 1st grade class
8. they had to draw "jobs", and GJ first drew mommy and daddy with two computers next to them, then since that took no time his teacher asked him to draw a hairdresser. I love how simple it is
